When I first drew this strip a couple of weeks ago, I drew Mueller as Boba Fett and his Dream Team as other Star Wars bounty hunters, obviously in keeping with the Star Wars theme of this administration, but it didn’t sit right with me. Then I saw Seth Myers compare Mueller to Sam the Eagle (credit where credit’s due), and it all fell into place, especially when I saw Mueller’s Dream Team–they rather perfectly fit Muppets, every one of them.
