Furries take a lot of shit, but, honestly, what better ambassadors for a bunch of frightened kids, who’ve lost everything, their lives torn apart by war, only to be dragged into a strange country. By all reports, the attendees of VancouFur rose to the challenge. In a time when so many people–including far too many in or seeking political office–heartlessly turn their backs on these children.

I’m going to be running a demo of Munchkin Marvel tomorrow at Double Midnight Comics in Concord; we’ll be at New England Comic Con June 18th-19th; and my band, Ed for a Day, will be playing the Tilton/Northfield Old Home Day in Tilton, NH on June 25th, from noon to 1:30. Come see us if you’re around for any of those!

If you enjoy “With the Band” (and who wouldn’t after a strip like this one?), please consider supporting our Patreon. Producing a strip like this three times a week requires a LOT of work and a little bit of expense. So please help me keep this going and support us. We’ll give you some awesome pictures of squirrels in return!

We are increasing our presence on Twitter, so if you like the strip and use Twitter, please Follow us and share our posts! Apparently the number of Followers and shares means something.

Please check out the Groupie Squirrel Store above and below. If you like the comic, and you like one (or more) of the shirts, then please help us keep the comic going by buying an awesome t-shirt! And I just finished the design for a new shirt that’s going to be the best of the bunch! And here it is!
