Clarence Thomas has a reputation on the Supreme Court, which Jon Stewart said best in America: the Book: “Using felt and yarn, make a hand puppet of Clarence Thomas. Ta-da! You’re Antonin Scalia!” This characterization isn’t entirely fair. While Thomas voted in alignment with Scalia an average of 87% in his first ten years on the Court, and voted with Scalia 98% of the time in 2006, other justices weren’t far behind, and Roberts and Alito were even more in alignment some years. Still, it’s true enough to be funny, and drawing Clarence Thomas as a Muppet was more fun that it should have been.

Deadsquirrel is this month’s Squirrel-of-the-Month. If you support our Patreon by February 29th at the $5, $10, or $25 level, I’ll throw in a Deadsquirrel postcard, sticker, or both, respectively, in addition to the March Squirrels (which are also pretty awesome–and definitely better than March hares).
